As your storage and transportation provider of compressed and liquid gases, Rawhide Leasing wants to make it as easy as possible to determine the right size of tube trailer for your specific needs. With our gas tube trailer calculator you can easily convert your measurements into metric and determine volume equivalents using our resource tables. Stored and transported gases include, air, argon, carbon monoxide, helium, hydrogen, natural gas, neon, nitrogen and oxygen.

Rawhide Leasing owns and maintains more than 60 high pressure tube trailers that are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. The use of a metric conversion calculator for compressed and liquid gases allows for more precise calculations. Better calculations allow for the accurate size of tube trailer.

Our natural gas metric conversion calculator includes the capabilities to convert temperature, pressure, weight, volume and length.

Each of our tube trailers has exact specifications and by using the natural gas metric conversion calculator you can find close volume approximations to determine the correct trailer size for your transportation and storage needs. Depending on the size of the tube and the trailer that carries it, you will need to know the approximate volume. Based on your measurements and approximations and for your convenience we’ve provided tables to assist you.

Rawhide’s small trailers are made with an aluminum inner tube wrapped in carbon fiber, which provides an excellent strength to weight ratio. Our large trailers are typically eight tube to assure shipments don’t exceed highway weight limits. Higher capacity trailers are available upon request. If the appropriate tube trailer isn’t currently available in our fleet we can custom build to meet your specifications and needs.

Rawhide Leasings’ technical gas volumes calculator helps serve our customers with a convenient way to convert your measurements. Contact us for help on how to use this calculator or for more information about the tube trailers we have available.
